Want to contribute?
My goal is to make the Pinelands canal the exercise place of choice.
The following are some of the ways that you could help achieve this:
-
At the start of the routes (0km) are the remains of various items wooden exercise equipment. Should you be able to develop an "training programme" for the items that remain, let's stick it up so that people can make use of them again.
-
Any other suggestions?

This project began as a way to
get me back
onto the road. I hadn't done much running since the birth of my two
kids, and this was the ideal way to motivate me to run
the
routes, check distances - and give something back to the community.
Since
moving to Pinelands in 2004, I had heard from various people that the
canal
route signage "upgrade" was imminent. Nothing happened...
Should you wish to make any comments about this site - or send me anything that you feel should be included - please feel free to contact me on:
I look forward to hearing from you.
Finally, in answer to some of the emails I have received, I am not
part of the Pinelands Running Club’s structures – but have been a member there
in the past (although not currently). They are a great club with many runs
organised for different levels of ability – I'm sure that they will have a
group that is right for you. The “time trials” route is probably a
good (and fun) place to start – very social with many people taking part. Here is a link to a web page that has the contact details
for the club’s committee for you to get further information.
Good luck with your running – and I hope to see you on
the road!
